The Salem Township Hospital Foundation was organized in January, 2000.  It is governed by a twelve member board of directors who serve two year terms.  The members are:  Barney Bruce, President; Linda Mobley, Vice President/Gift Officer; Felton Jose, Secretary; Nadine Brinkerhoff, Historian; Myron Lloyd, Treasurer; Barb Schoonover, Hospital Employee; Chariya Tawjareon, Mary Jo Rubio, Sharon Woodward, Charles Raglin, and Ola Chapman.  Nancy Clark is the hospital liaison to the board.

The Foundation has funded the following projects:  radiology equipment, telemetry units, anesthesia machine, Hale Clinic furnishings, cafeteria/dining room renovations, steam generators for the sterilizers and LifePacs for ER.  The total cost funded for these projects was $684,412.  To date, 100% of all the money donated has been applied to the above projects.  No gifts have been used to cover administrative costs.  For more information about the Salem Township Hospital Foundation, contact Nancy Clark at 618-548-3194, ext. 8146.
