The Salem Township Hospital Foundation was organized in January, 2000. It is governed by a twelve member board of directors who serve two year terms.
The Foundation has holds annual fundraisers including Golf Tournaments, Holiday Basket Auctions, and Bowl-a-thons and has funded the following projects: radiology equipment, telemetry units, anesthesia machine, Hale Clinic furnishings, cafeteria/dining room renovations, steam generators for the sterilizers, LifePacs for ER and lobby furnishings. The total cost funded for these projects was $884,412. To date, 100% of all the money donated has been applied to the above projects. No gifts have been used to cover administrative costs.
