On November 29, 2007, Salem Township Hospital broke ground for a three phase Master Building Project. Phase 1 is a three level, 40,000 square foot addition to the front of the hospital. The ground level will include new laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation and physical therapy departments. The main level will include a new front lobby, information area, café, gift shop, chapel, office areas, elevators and public restrooms. The second level will include offices, education department, and Board room. Phase I is scheduled to be completed by March 2009.
